302 Redirecting

Temporary Redirecting

Notice the redirect_layout highlighted in yellow.

Let's say you need to redirect one of your landing pages for a day or two, but you don't want Google to think you are gone for good.

The answer is the 302 redirect layout highlighted in yellow in the image to the right.

This layout will allow you to indicate a URL in content paragraph 1 to automatically send users to instead of seeing the real content on this page.

Whereas the 301 redirect tells Google to forget about the old page, this 302 tells Google to return again because the change is only temporary.
